He Makes Everything Beautiful
Job
‘He has made everything beautiful in His time.’
Ecclesiastes 3:11
p 2
‘Honor and majesty are before Him;
strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.’
Psalm 96:6
The infinitely beautiful One created life,
and made everything a beautiful gift of love
for those He created.
p 3
Job was a man who feared God
and turned from evil.
God had blessed him with great wealth,
vast estates, and 10 children.
In heaven, the Sons of God (angels)
gathered at The Lord’s sapphire throne
where He sat,
a fiery gemstone form of a man
flashing forth rainbows (Ezekiel 1:26-28).
And Satan came before Him bragging that he ruled on earth.
The Lord refuted him, ‘What about My servant Job?
He is fears God and shuns evil.’
Satan said, ‘You have put a hedge around him.’
p 4
The Almighty is a shield
around those who trust Him.
‘Without it,’ Satan said,
‘I can make him curse you to your face!’
God allowed him to try,
but after Satan had painfully stripped Job of everything.
Job said, ‘The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.’
Whenever we turn to God above others
it honors Him in the eyes of all creation forever.
p 5
Three friends came to comfort Job,
but concluded he must have done horrible sins
to receive such ‘punishment.’
(God had already held Job up before the universe
as the most righteous man on earth.)
The friends said, Seek God.
‘To God would I commit my cause.
Who does great things unsearchable,
marvelous things without number.
The Lord gives rain on the earth
and sends waters on the fields.
p 6
He sets on high those that are low;
and those who mourn will be exalted to safety.’
(All these things were true,
but something far bigger was happening.)
‘Happy is the man whom God corrects.
Don’t despise the chastening of the Almighty.’
‘He chastens those He loves.’
Hebrews 12:6
‘In famine He will redeem you from death:
and in war from the power of the sword.
You will be hidden from the ‘scourge of the tongue.' Job 5:21
(hurtful words from others).
p 7
God won’t cast away a perfect man;
He won’t help the evil doers.
He will fill your mouth with laughing
and your lips with rejoicing.
He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength:
Who alone spread out the heavens
and walks on the waves of the sea.
‘Your hands have made me
and fashioned me together round about.’
p 8
‘Can you discover the Almighty’s perfection?
It is as high as heaven;
In His hand is the soul of every living thing,
and the breath of all mankind.’
Job 12:10
‘With Him is strength and wisdom:
the deceived and the deceiver are His.’
Job said, I know that My Redeemer lives
and He will stand on the earth in the latter days.
In my flesh, I will see God.’
(He will be resurrected) Job 19:26
p 9
Job said, ‘Though He kill me,
I will still trust in Him.
My witness is in heaven,
and my record is on high.
Dominion and fear are with him,
He makes peace in His high places.
He judges those that are high.
(The heavens full of countless beautiful, powerful
angelic beings made of light).
‘Serve Him now and be at peace:
by it good will come to you.
The Almighty will be your defense.
You will delight in the Almighty
and lift up your face to God.’
p 11
‘He knows the way that I take:
when he has refined me, I will come forth as gold.’
(pure and most valuable, 'holy as He is holy,'
'filled with all the fullness of His infinite glory.)
Job 23:10
‘I haven’t turned back
from the commandment of His lips;
I have esteemed the words of His mouth
more than my necessary food.’
‘On whom doesn’t His light rise?
He looks to the ends of the earth
and sees under the whole heaven
to make the weight for the winds;
and He weighs the waters by measure.
p 11
‘He made a decree for the rain,
and a way for the lightning of the thunder.’
‘The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom;
and to depart from evil is understanding.’
‘There is a spirit in man:
and the breath of the Almighty
gives them understanding.’
The Spirit of God has made me,
and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.’
p 12
‘Surely God will not do wickedly;
The Almighty won’t pervert justice.
Will we condemn Him that is most just?’
His eyes are on the ways of man,
and He sees all his goings.
There is no darkness, or shadow of death,
where the workers of iniquity can hide themselves.’
‘He corrects them in the open sight of others
because they turned back from him
and wouldn’t consider any of His ways.’
Job 34:26
p 13
‘Behold, God is mighty and doesn’t despise any:
He is mighty in strength and wisdom.

and opens their ears in oppression.’ Job 36:15

who teaches like Him?

and in abundant justice.’
p 14
Then the Lord came to talk with Job
out of the whirlwind, saying,
‘Where were you
when I laid the foundations of the earth?
When the morning stars sang together,
and all the Sons of God shouted for joy?’
Job 38:7
‘Have You entered the springs of the sea?
or walked in the search of the deep?
Have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?’
‘Have you entered the treasures of the snow?
Or have you seen the treasures of the hail?’
p 15
‘Can you guide the constellations?
Can you send lightning?’
‘Do you cause the wildlife to give birth?
Did you give the goodly wings to the peacocks?
or wings and feathers to the ostrich?’
Does the eagle mount up at your command,
and make her nest on high?’
Job said, ‘Once I have spoken;
yes, twice; but I will proceed no further.’
The Lord asked Job, Will you condemn me,
that you may be righteous?
Dress yourself now with majesty and excellency.
Clothe yourself with glory and beauty.’
p 16
‘Look on every one that is proud and bring him low.
Then I will confess to you
that your own right hand can save you.’
(of Jesus we are told)
for there is ‘no other name
by which we must be saved.’ Acts 4:12
Job said, ‘I know that You can do everything,
and no thought can be withheld from You.
I heard of You by the hearing of the ear:
but now my eye sees You.’
‘I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.’
(not understanding why God allowed his suffering,
Job had complained, wanted to die,
had questioned what God was doing.)
p 17
The Lord corrected Job’s 3 friends saying,
‘You haven’t spoken right about Me as My servant Job has.
He will pray for you.’
The Lord surrounded Job as a shield again
when he prayed for his friends:
also, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before
and 140 more years of earthly life to enjoy it all.
p 18
‘He is our help and shield.’

and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom:
from Him comes knowledge and understanding.
p 6
He hides sound wisdom for the righteous:
He is a shield to those that walk uprightly.
He guards the paths of judgment
and preserves the way of His saints
to deliver you from the way of the evil.
A woman who forgets the covenant of her God.
Her guests are in the depths of hell.
The upright will dwell in the land,
but the wicked will be rooted out of it.
Proverbs 2:22
p 7
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
and don’t lean to your own understanding.
In all your ways know Him,
and He will direct your paths.’
Proverbs 3:5, 6
Those the Lord loves He corrects;
as a father the son He delights in.
Wisdom is more precious than rubies:
nothing can be compared to her.
p 8
She is a tree of life;
happy is every one that holds her.
She will crown you with glory.
The Lord by wisdom founded the earth;
by understanding He established the heavens.
By His knowledge the depths are split,
and the clouds drop down night mist.
The wise will inherit glory:
‘Whoever overcomes will inherit all things
and I will be his God and he/she will be My Son.’
Revelation 21:7
p 9
The Lord sees the ways of man
and He ponders (weighs, makes level)
all his goings.
Whoever commits adultery with a woman
lacks understanding:
he destroys his own soul.
(For God makes for each one a mate that fits;
others belong to someone else
and don’t satisfy.)
Genesis 2:18, 21-25
And the ‘Lord avenges’ this robbery of a brother:
one who mates with one the Lord created for someone else.’
1 Thessalonians 4:6
p 10
By wisdom kings reign, and princes decree justice.
‘Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness,
and the firstborn from the dead,
and the prince over the kings of the earth,
loves us, and washed us
from our sins in His own blood,
has made us kings and priests
to God, His Father.’
Revelation 1:5, 6
p 11
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,
to depart from the traps of death.
The eyes of the Lord are in every place
beholding the evil and the good.
The Lord is far from the wicked:
but He hears the prayer of the righteous.
The one with all the power in the universe
is the one who hears and answers all prayers.
Whoever puts His trust in
the great God that formed all things
will be safe.
p 12
Who has ascended into heaven, or descended?
Who has gathered the wind in his fists?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who established all the ends of the earth?
Every word of God is pure:
He is a shield to those that put their trust in Him.
As the whirlwind passes the wicked are no more:
but the righteous are an everlasting foundation.
The fear of the Lord prolongs days:
but the years of the wicked will be shortened.
p 14
The way of the Lord is strength to the upright.
They are His delight.
Think about that: you are God’s delight.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life;
and he that wins souls is wise.
He's giving them unimaginable treasure.
‘Eye hasn’t seen, or ear heard,
or entered into the heart of man,
the things God has prepared for those that love him.’
1 Corinthians 2:9
p 14
Man plans what to say,
but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
Proverbs 16:1
The Lord made all things for Himself:
yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.
When a man's ways please the Lord,
He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
A man's heart plans his way:
but the Lord directs his steps.
Commit your works to the Lord,
and your thoughts will be established.
p 15
The Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous run into Him and are safe.
The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord,
searching all the inward parts of the heart.
The Lord pleads the cause of those robbed
and robs those that robbed them.
Don’t set your eyes on riches
for they certainly make themselves wings;
they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
p 16
Don’t cheat the fatherless
for their Redeemer is mighty;
He will contend with you.
Correct your children.
They won’t die,
but you deliver their soul from hell.
Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls.
It may displease the Lord
and He may turn away His wrath.
Don’t be upset about evil people
or envy the wicked;
their candle will be put out.
p 17
A right answer is a kiss on the lips.
(The whole Word of God is His right answer for us,
a kiss for our hearts.)
Proverbs 24:26
'Man doesn’t live by bread alone
but by every word from the mouth of God.'
Matthew 4:4
Happy is the man that fears God continually.
p 18

His name is Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
Of His kingdom of peace and justice
there will be no end.’
Isaiah 9:6,7
p 19
He says, I go to prepare a place for you;
I will come again
and receive you to Myself
that where I am there you will be also.’
(The throne of the universe).

Behold, I come quickly.

He made a Time for Everything
From Ecclesiastes
‘To everything there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven.’
Ecclesiastes 3:1
p 2
I, Solomon the Preacher,
was king over Israel in Jerusalem.
And I gave my heart to seek by wisdom
all things that are done under heaven:
this task God has given to the sons of man
to be humbled by.
Vanity (self-centeredness, emptiness) of vanities
all is vanity.
What profit does a man have
from all his work he does under the sun?
p 3
One generation passes away,
and another generation comes:
but the earth remains forever.
The sun rises and sets
and hurries around again.
The wind goes toward the south,
and turns around to the north;
it whirls about continually,
All the rivers run into the sea;
yet the sea is not full;
to the place from where the rivers come,
they return.
p 4
The eye is not satisfied with seeing,
or the ear filled with hearing.
[‘Blessed is the man
You choose to be near You,
to dwell in your courts:
we will all be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Your holy temple.’]
Psalm 65:6
[They will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.]
Psalm 23:6
p 5
I sought wisdom and became the wisest of men.
But with much wisdom comes much grief.
So, I tried mirth, enjoyment, pleasure
but then said of laughter, this is madness.
I kept searching to find what was good
for the sons of men to do under the heaven
all the days of their life.
p 6
I built houses; I planted vineyards,
gardens, and orchards,
and all kinds of fruits.
I gathered all kinds of possessions
and animals and servants
and gold and silver,
musical instruments,
men and women singers.
Whatever my eyes desired
I didn’t keep from them
p 7
I didn’t hold back my heart from any joy;
then I looked at it all and found it empty
and troubling to my spirit.
‘For God gives to a man that is good in His sight
wisdom, and knowledge, and joy.’
He, the most beautiful One,
made everything beautiful in His time.
p 8
I know that whatever God does,
it will be forever:
nothing can be added to it,
nothing can be taken from it:
and God does it,
that men will fear (revere) Him.
['that you may always fear
His glorious and awesome name/person.']
Deuteronomy 28:58
p 9
God will judge the righteous and the wicked:
for there is a time
for every purpose and for every work.
To rejoice in one’s labor;
this is the gift of God.
God answers him in the joy of His heart.
The one that fears God will come forth above all:
literally also, forever.
[‘He that overcomes
will sit with Me on My throne.’]
Revelation 3:21
p 10
God made man upright;
but they have sought out many inventions.
I know that it will be well
with those that fear God.

what You have prepared
for those that wait for you.’

the things that God has prepared
for those that love Him.’

for that is your portion in this life,
and in your work that you do under the sun.’

[‘In His presence is fullness of joy
and at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.’]
Psalm 16:11
p 12
Remember now your Creator
in the days of your youth,
before the evil days come,
or the years draw near, when you say,
I have no pleasure in them.
The words of the wise are as goads,
and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies,
that are given from One Shepherd.
Learn by these my son.
For beyond these, be warned.
p 13

there is no end;
and much study is a weariness of the flesh.'

your own pride, and evil.
So take no thought for tomorrow:
for tomorrow will take thought for the things of itself.
Each day has enough evil of its own.']
